This week in science class we did many things. We finished a disease project. Also we looked at plant cells under a microscope.

This week in science class we finished a disease project. The project was to find what was causing a disease project in a school. We tested many things such as water samples, chicken, and knives. We found out that the chicken was causing the disease. Then we had to find out what the disease was. We narowed it down to four different diseases. The diseases were salminela, lysteria, staphleo caucus, and campylobactor. Two of the diseases were gram positive and two were gram negative. So we did a grams test to elimanate two of the diseases. We found that the disease was gram negative. So then we compared the syptoms of the people that got sick to the syptoms of the diseases. We found that the disease was salminela.

Also this week we looked at cells under microscopes. We saw many different things. We made four slides. The first three slides had pieces of potato and had different stains. The last slide was grass. We saw a bunch of small cells on the potato slide and a bring green line on the grass slide.
